The Paul Beard Signature Series resonator guitars distinguish themselves from the crowd by offering a traditional 12-fret design, ideal for the best tone.  The GRE was designed by the legendary Paul Beard with a steel body and a biscuit-style cone configuration.  The GRE combines these traditional elements with a modern twist as it is constructed around a thinner 2-1/8” body design for a more subtle acoustic tone that really shines when amplified.  The built-in magnetic lipstick pickup does an excellent job of capturing the true resonator sound whether you desire a crystal clean glassy tone or want to drive the signal for a pushed blues rock sound.  The volume and tone control allow for a variety of available tones and this guitar will absolutely scream if you want it to!

The GRE was reviewed in Frets Magazine and was the recommended steel body guitar to own in its price range.  It is professionally setup at the Gold Tone shop for optimum playability ideal for conventional playing or bottleneck slide playing.  The coverplate also features a removable palm rest for quick and easy saddle adjustments.
