(GN5) Graphite Banjo Neck - Hearts & Flowers - Radiused Fingerboard
5 reasons why your next neck should be graphite:
Our replacement graphite neck comes completely fretted, finished, and ready for installation by a qualified banjo luthier. You may also send your pot to Gold Tone for a neck replacement. Your banjo will be returned with a new neck, completely set up with improved tone and the lowest action possible. Installing a Graphite Neck The heel profile is molded for a flat cut. Flat cuts are normally mounted on open-back banjo pots. Most bluegrass banjos require a "flange cut." We can install this cut using Gibson specs for either a once piece flange or tube and plate design. We can not guarantee a perfect fit unless Gold Tone installs the neck. All heel cuts are done using specific jigs (tooling) and are extremely difficult to fit properly by using hand tools. Normal woodworking jigs work fine. Additional Inlays If desired additional inlay may be added. Installing inlay in a graphite neck is the same as a wood neck. Read the Banjo Newsletter review.
