IT-250F (Irish Tenor)
Our Irish Tenor banjos have always been a favorite in the Celtic arena. This new model was recommended by Andy Perkins (owner of Andybanjo.com in Faversham, England) and is based on a custom design that he has already been building for some years in response to a demand for a more "up front" banjo than the well-regarded IT250 model. Andy helped us design this model which packs extra punch/volume and will "cut through" at crowded Celtic music sessions. Combining the refined & well-tested Gold Tone shortscale tenor neck with a hard rock maple 3 ply rim, sand cast brass tone ring, one piece flange and 14" traditional resonator assures quality tone - and lots of it!!
