I just received the most wonderful banjo, a WL-250+.  I am relatively new to the banjo, just starting with one in October last year with a fairly good Deering.   After watching the Bob Carlin DVD and the presentation by Wayne at the end, I investigated the Gold Tone banjo line.  So many to choose from but I settled on the WL-250+ after conversations with Mark at (dealer).  My good luck .... both by 'finding' Mark, his knowledge, and the Gold Tone banjo site to study.  My White Layde arrived Wednesday in perfect condition, tuned perfectly, ready to play (even for a beginner), with a tone beyond belief.  Wayne, thank you for your DVD presentation, and Mark  for your guidance in choice.  This instrument is much more than advertised, 'she' is a work of art and a tonal masterpiece.  Thanks to all concerned, this instrument is truly 'more bang for the buck'.  J.
