MM-150

The Maple Mountain 150 (MM-150) is a perfect example of Gold Tone’s “more bang for the buck” concept.  This openback banjo model is a professional quality instrument offing many of the same features found on much higher priced instruments and packs an unreal tone for its low cost.  For a sweet frailing or clawhammer tone, the MM-150 is our original open back and has been very well received.  This model features an accurate replica of the vintage and highly sought after 3-part White Ladye tone ring coupled with a 1/2" rim for maximum air chamber volume.  Other features include a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with ‘snowflake’ inlays and a frailing scoop, vintage Friabanks-style headstock design, planetary tuners, 11” Renaissance head, Vega-style armrest, and No Knot tailpiece.  Final assembly and complete setup performed at the Gold Tone Factory in Florida.

Wayne, I've received the MM150 and well done, it's not damaged. The tone is excellent and I'm very pleased with it . . . thank you for your help and attention.

Dear Sir,
I just wanted to say that I am impressed with the product. I've taught guitar for several years, and when I wanted to learn frailing banjo I contacted Joe Bethancourt, who is considered to be the best at clawhammer style in the state.
Joe plays over 60 instruments and teaches a dozen. He told me for playability and price, I wouldn't go wrong with your product. He stated that he had never played a Goldtone that he didn't like.
The MM-150 sounds great and plays well. Regards, Elgis Berkman
