Due to the enormous popularity of the original GT-500, the GT-750 Banjitar was designed for optimal volume and tone. After numerous tone ring experimentations, a unique 20-hole bell brass tone ring was chosen for its bell-like sound characteristics and chime-like sustain. The brass tone ring provides more acoustic volume and a more focused tone. Upgraded from the GT-500, the GT-750 features the bell brass flat top tone ring, curly maple resonator, and bound fingerboard and resonator. This model also features the Sliding Magnetic Pickup (SMP) with volume control which provides a great banjo-like tone through an amplifier. Final assembly and complete setup performed at the Gold Tone Factory in Florida.
Only a few years ago, a 6-string banjo would have been considered a 'cheater' banjo for guitarists, but today it is well accepted as its own instrument and you will hear the 6-string banjo in many genres of popular music. The GT-750 will certainly be a welcoming addition to any guitarists' arsenal!

As a recent Gold Tone customer, I would like to say thanks for creating such wonderful instruments. The Banjitar Deluxe GT-750 I bought is awesome--the sustain is amazing and it's really a wonderful complement in the recording studio where clients like to experiment and try different sounds--especially in "un-banjo" styled music like Indian ragas or Middle Eastern music. Plugged into a overdriven Marshall stack, rock power chords sound absolutely unworldly--very cool!!! Oh yeah, it's also great for folk, country and traditional jazz--but I'm sure you already knew that.

I bought a GT-750 and love it. The craftsmanship is impeccable. The maple resonator is absolutely beautiful, and the sound is fantastic . . . I have played it so much I already need new strings. Your Banjitar was a stroke of pure genius . . . it has given me the ability to lay down additional tracks to accompany my guitar on my 4 track recorder. By the way all my friends fell in love with this baby . . . so I hope you get a few sales . . . thanks so much for a great musical instrument.
