I purchased a Tenor TS-250 about 3 years ago. I have 3 vintage banjos which I enjoy very much. But, I can tell you that the TS-250 runs circles around those vintage banjos. I changed the set up a little, plus the clamshell tailpiece you had on it was a short version that did not fit right. I put on a new clamshell tailpiece and adjusted the head tension a little different than you had it. I play the "old time" stuff like "Goodnight Sweet Heart" etc. That TS 250 sustains and almost plays itself. Thanks for a great Tenor banjo. - Chuck Harris Union City, CA
