Just got my new Tranjo through Angie's Banjos. It came in pristine
condition. Took me a few minutes to tune it up, but then it played just
fine. Not quite used to the tuners yet, but that will come with time. The
sound is a little different, but nothing that won't keep me from playing it.
I have a Stelling Bellflower as my performance banjo, and the Tranjo is what
I will practice with alot. One of the reasons I got it, last year I went to
Kaufman Kamp and the airline lost my banjo, yes, my Stelling. It went to
Washington DC and Chicago without me. I finally got it back and I heard
from Janet Davis about the Tranjo. I did some research on the internet and
Angie's Banjo had the best price. I'm off on vacation for the next 10 days,
and yes the Tranjo is going along. Serious banjo pickers should really
consider getting one of these, if they travel. The gig bag will be okay,
but the Tranjo is going in my carry-on bag on the way home. Lots of padding
around it too. Thanks for making a quality product that is affordable and
gives us an option for travel. We don't have to leave our banjos at home
anymore because they weigh too much or are too bulky- Susan Horn Colorado Springs, CO |
